Is it possible to use a midlength ventilated aluminum varmint-style floated handgaurd with a Mil Spec 20" HBAR barrel and 1913 rail gas block? I am new and am not even sure if I posed this question correctly....Thanks, Gary.

If I understand your question correctly, the answer would be yes. The mid-length tube is going to fall short of the gas-block by a few inches and will leave the gas-tube exposed for that same distance. Coming in contact with a gas-tube, even after just a few shots, will leave an impression you won't soon forget though. I guess if I were doing it, I would want the full length tube.

Sure, it works, we wonder what the purpose is though?
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
