I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

What's the 700 twist vs. the Plastikka?
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

If the Tikka was priced on par with a Ruger American I'd not have nearly the problem I do with them, even though, feature for feature, I still don't like them. But I'll just leave it at that

I have a bunch if 700's built on a bunch of 700 actions and like them. I also have a handful of tikkas and really like them. As far as outta the box don't do nothing the tikka is a better buy, I think. I know people will argue but that's my opinion. I think the tikka barrel and trigger are hands down better from the go

The Tikka in factory form, if you like it.
The 8-twist 700 if you are stuck on Remingtons.

For an out of the box, start killing things, sporter.. Plastikka by a mile. Easy to start shooting longs if you have a hankering..
You want to start customizing, 700..

For a pure custom I would choose the 700.
Tikka is a great option to just grab and take hunting as is.
