Really like the options they have
I for some reason would like a right bolt left port as I'm left eye dominate. Be a little different at first but would probably like it in the long run

I better get on selling some stuff!!! Just started thinking about this will see what I come up with. But after shooting a handful of guns yesterday the thought of downsizing just a tad and building one really nice one has me thinking!!

I have used them all. Bats can't be faulted in qc or design. I don't like their short firing pin fall, so I don't use them anymore. Pierce is a great action, I wish the closing ramps matched the lug angle, but that is their only fault. My pierce was the smoothest opening/closing action I have ever felt. They are also easy to time. Kelbys are also great in design and qc. They have a shallow cocking ramp so you must have cock on close to get enough firing pin fall. This can be fixed but its alot of work (like the Bat). Borden has his design right in my opinion. It is my current choice. Stiller, I can not recommend this action. Qc and closing ramp design. Have not owned a Defiance.
I am picky and like my actions timed while still having correct pin fall. I know most don't care that much. I think they will all shoot to about the same potential, I just have certain design features I like. Just because its a custom do not think it will be perfect. I have found a lot of issues with new actions. Check everything. Look at the Pierce Titanium action, saves a half pound over steel.

For a hunting rifle, tactical rifle, etc... In my opinion you can't go wrong with a Defiance Machine ! Another couple... 6mm Crusader coyote rifle 300 WSM non Typical (sold) for Extreme Hunter

Lug contact, firing pin bind, sloppy machine work, firing pin holes crooked, warped bolts. Had I built on one of them as is i may have spent a lot of time a money trying to figure out why they would not shoot to potential. Just because they go bang does not mean everything is right.

I kinda like what Beanland can do with Bighorn actions
Michael Jordan once told me that no one likes name droppers.

For a hunting rifle you really can't go wrong with a Borden. I like the bolt handle he uses as it is slender and doesn't get in the way. However; it's not a one piece like other manufacturers. IMO, If you are wanting a hunting/tactical combo rifle I would go with a Defiance over the Borden. Their Deviant Hunter intrigues me.

Another Defiance fan here. I have 2 of them currently and can see more in my future. Oh, both of mine are hunting rigs.
