beeen thinking i need a whelen and looking at a single shot that want break the bank.i have in the past had handi rifles and have no problem with another one. I see that CVA chambers there single shots in 35 whelen...about the same price also. anyone have any hands on with a cva centerfire?

I myself was going to buy a h&R in 35 whelen, but heard they had stoped makeing them as there was some kinda problem, but this has been awhile. I have owned 44 mag 20 gage and 45-70 in the H&Rs and never had a problem. was at a local gun shop yesterday and the owner had me look at a H&R and a rossi, no way would I buy the rossi, he has 2 of them in there to fix, shake them and they rattle hing seem slopy in them.
Deer Camp! about as good as it gets!
