The only stainless SA 41 Mags made by Ruger were distributor exclusives. One was the 7.5" Hunter model. The other was the 5.5" Bisley.

Actually they had two Hunter Models...one was a Super Blackhawk with the standard round triggerguard SB gripframe and the other had a Bisley Gripframe...both were Davidson exclusives. There are still some available on GunBroker for the $650-800 range. They only made 500 of each. The 5.5" was from AccuSport I believe. I got tired of waiting for a stainless .41 from Ruger so in 2000 contracted with Reeder Custom Guns to have one made...was just shooting it yesterday... These were the Hunters... Great shooters... U R welcome...
I did just see one mistake in the picture that I thought I had corrected. The load shows 15.0 grains of Unique...one can not get 15.0 grains of Unique into a .41 case... It was actually 2400. I am so used to using only Unique I just naturally wrote it down.

That FA97 short in a RB in 41 RM or 44 SP was a top wish list item in the past, just way over the top on price

Bob The other one might be the 255 Keith/Lee bullet?

Yes...bought it on a GroupBuy on the Cast Boolit Forums. In my alloy it runs right at 250-255. Favorite and only bullet used in the .41 Special loads I'm making for the Clements Custom with 7.0 grain of Unique.

They have done a few .41s that I know of... I also got in on a 165 Keith/.41 and I know a friend who got I believe a 120 grain wadcutter/.41.
I've spoken with the owner and asked him why he doesn't do one of their nice RF style molds for .41 like they have for the .357, .44 and .45. He said he just doesn't have the shelf space.
Accurate Molds are a little more expensive but the guy will make anything you want and get it to you in a couple of weeks.
