You've been a busy boy. The "saddle rifle" would be an 1899A short rifle, the 1923 A t/d would be a 99B.
“ The Savage 99 Pocket Reference”. All models and variations of 1895’s, 1899’s and 99’s covered. Also dates, checkering, engraving.. Find at www.savagelevers.com

Once you get the pics in photobucket click on them and look to the right and you will see a heading 'Share Links' Click on the box to the right of IMG and it copies the image statement so all you have to do is paste it in your post here. (Use the ctrl V shortcut to paste and it's a piece o' cake.)

the short rifle is really the prize for me. it's in great condition not mint but very nice and it's got that fat perch belly wood.. I had picked up the 95 a couple of weeks ago but 99's are getting hard to find over here now, well at least one's that aren't some crazy price. I found these and they were reasonable. the E will be in the woods tomorrow. it comes up nice I thru a Willams reciever sight on it shot it at a pie plate off the back deck and it ready for killing.. we're suppose to get a little more snow tonight. plab
