I'm just happy Spurrier didn't leave the bus and stay behind in Gainsville. I have mentioned before that Steve and I were friends at UF back in the day. Still know him well enough to make a phone call. Wish he had never left UF. Damn that boy can play golf!

Sam I'm hoping his relationship with Hootie and the membership he was given at Augusta is enough to keep him at SC until he retires to Crescent Beach.
What's he's done and continues to do for USC is unparalleled.

I think that scenario is a given. Look for maybe, MAYBE two years more. Steve has another life he wants to live, and it does not include the pressure of College Football.

What's he's done and continues to do for USC is unparalleled. When did Spurrier move to Los Angeles?  Sorry, couldn't help it. Where does UF turn? I would think they will look for a proven head coach. Message boards say that Mullen and Foley aren't very close (I have no idea if that's true).

Mullen is NOT going to leave Miss State to come 'back' to UF. Look for an experienced coach, offense minded, and not from the SEC. Don't look for a young turk, but an experienced, proven guy.
