Cuzz,

What did you sell the Bee for? I wish I'd known it was up for grabs.

Cuzzin Rick,

Do ya mean how much or the reason?

Tha reason was due to over spending on the mrs. part for her new kitchen.
The sale price was 600.00.

Yea Rick,
It was one of those times when we felt we needed ta generate
some cash fairly quick, I knew the Bee would sell fast, and I ain't a been payin enough attention to my "pimp" 1899 .22HP anyways......
We has set a figure that we don't want ta git below on our bank accounts, and when we gets close, I tend ta panic.....
sold a lot of good guns probably too quick that away, but what's done is done. That rifle was bought with the idea a keepin it fer a spell, enjoyin it and then sellin it.
Jest did'nt get ta keep her long enough, but did make a fair profit on it though.
And so it goes.....

No takers fer the ammo?.........
tomorrom mornin, it goes to the auction site then.
Later, Mitch.

Mitch,

I've got a line on a Model 1894CL in .218 Bee for less than $350, are you interested? Where, might I ask, did you advertise your rifle and get $600?

Sincerely,

Hey Cuzzin Bear!

The 1894CL .218 I sold was in 99.9% condition with orig. factory box.
I listed it on forthehunt.com auction site.
Shore did'nt expect ta get that much dinero outa it, but it were like new with box and I guess the feller what bought it
jest wanted one real bad.
If ya can get one like the one I sold, fer under 350, snap it up pardner.Apparently the .218 Bee is the rarest of the CL's and most desireable.
Naw bud,as I jest sold 1 due ta the mrs. over spendin on her new kitchen cabinets, I really can't buy another gun fer a while, less a course that money tree I gots in the back yard goes ta sproutin double sawbucks again.
Buy her yer ownself, list it on one a the auction sites and make yerself a tidy profit.Ya could get at least 500.00 fer it if it's in excellent (98%) condition.Start yer auction at 450.00 and watch her climb.
Or.............buy the gun and I'll sell ya those 3 full boxes a ammo that I jest listed on the auction late last week.Make ya good deal.....
I do want ta thank ya fer thinkin a me though pardner.
Later, Mitch.

Mitch,

I was a few minutes too late, it was sold while I was sitting in line at the elevator to dump some beans. I shouldn't let my cellphone battery run down when I'm hammering on the lap top.

Oh well, you win some, you lose some, and sometimes you're not even in the game!

Bearrr264,

Should you find another 1894CL in .218 or .25-20, I'm interested. Looking for 95% or better. Not interested in the $600 NIB's.
