My dad gave me a foot locker full of old gun stuff yesterday and found this gem in amongst a vast array of mostly junk. This is brand new, never mounted, with all original accessories and paperwork. This is the original, first gen Titan made by Haku in Japan. Those who know about these scopes don't need to be told what they are. Anyone else, just ask. I'll have pictures first thing tomorrow. As I need some sleep. $325obo (all inclusive)

Before George sold the company to an investment company we worked with him in an attempt to expand his offerings to include mid to high end optics. We sent him several European scopes as examples to reverse engineer. Keep in mind that Tasco is and was just a name. There is no tasco factory only a handful of factories in the orient that will make anything for anyone. George went to the best quality factory in Japan to have these new high end Tascos made. My father actually named the first models that came before the Titan, he named them EuroClass (kind of a play on the Tasco staple, WorldClass). Later the EuroClass became the Titan. You are correct in your evaluation of these Japan Tasco scopes, they are better than the majority of what is available today. People never took them seriously because they did not have a high price tag and they had the tasco name on them.
