Looking for comments (1) Do you think the Redskins should give in and change the name. (2) WTF is wrong with the inept Redskins. Yesterday's game against Tampa Bay ... Yes, the Tampa Bay team with only one victory and one of the NFL's worst offenses. Final score Bucs 27 Redskins 7. This after a Redskins bye week and home field.

Leadership, coaching, and lack of an elite quarterback. Those are the three main rubs I'd say.
They either need to let RG3 fully recover from an injury, or trade him away and play for better draft picks. Colt McCoy could be the answer.

They should trade away RG3 and Jay Gruden's days are numbered.

Even the lowly Vikings beat them.
RG3 should quit the game while he can still walk. Noodle legs.

Hard to believe but the Redskins are even worse than last season.

The RGKnee trade killed the 'Skins for years.

RG3 called the game a "travesty" and went on to say he was having trouble seeing the field.

When the owner realizes that he doesn't know a damn thing about picking football players and leaves that up to his coaching staff, the Redskins will turn around. When someone buys the Redskins, they can name the team any darn thing they want. Until then, the lawyers will continue to make a ton of money on a BS case that means exactly nothing to the real world.

1.No the Redskins should not change the name just because the PC race hustler faction is after them
2. The jugheaded owner needs to stay out of the football operations because he has not a clue.
3. RG III's alligator sized ego has written too many checks his tadpole ass can't cover. He needs to either be benched or traded.

What do ya'll figure RGKnee's trade value is at this point. You might get a 6th or 7th rounder for him, and I doubt there would be many takers at the price tag he has. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/washington-redskins/robert-griffin-iii/

Sounds to me like Gruden might really be in charge ------------------------------------------------------ Gruden says the clocks ticking on Griffin Posted by Mike Florio on November 21, 2014, 8:07 PM EST Gruden AP Two years ago, Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III took the NFL by storm with a combination of running and passing that kept defenses off balance and guessing all year long. Until he was injured while running. Since then, an effort has been made to make Griffin more of a passer and less of a runner. And it hasnt worked. Now? Coach Jay Gruden sounds willing to consider having Griffin run some more as a last-ditch effort to make him more productive. Its a production-based business, Gruden told Albert Breer of NFL Media. We havent won many games lately with him. We gotta figure out a way to get in the end zone. We just have to score. I dont care how we do it. If its running the zone-read, I dont care. Quarterback sneaks, I dont give a damn. We gotta find a way to utilize him where we can get productive drives and stay away from negative plays and have some consistency. Consistency and the absence of negative plays could help Griffin rebuild his shattered confidence. Which Gruden may have further shattered while discussing Griffins shattered confidence on the record. His biggest thing, hes been coddled for so long, Gruden said of Griffin. Its not a negative, hes just been so good, he just hasnt had a lot of negative publicity. Everybodys loved him. Some adversity is striking hard at him now, and how he reacts to that off the field, his mental state of mind, how it affects his confidence, hopefully its not in a negative way. I read Drew Brees said after a couple interceptions, Im never gonna lose confidence, Im gonna come out firing all the time. And then Gruden may have stomped the shattered pieces of confidence into powder. Hes auditioned long enough, Gruden said of Griffin. Clocks ticking. Hes gotta play. Well see. . . . We want Robert to excel, we really do. But the last two games, it hasnt been very good, anywhere. We gotta play better around him. And the biggest thing for us as playcallers, and for him, we just have to come together and jell with plays hes comfortable with. That takes time. But we dont have a lot of time. Griffins time could run out because of the backup who won two games before Griffin returned from injury. We have a guy behind him that played pretty well, and people are looking, OK, hes 2-0, Gruden said regarding Colt McCoy. Theres always pressure on the quarterback to perform. And if you dont perform, like any other position, somebodys behind you pushing you. The way Gruden has been talking lately, maybe McCoy will end up pushing Griffin to the bench. Or maybe right out of town. Unless Griffin pushes another head coach out of town first. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/11/21/gruden-says-the-clocks-ticking-on-griffin/

I like the Colt McCoy suggestion. That boy looks like he's ready for prime time.

Since then, an effort has been made to make Griffin more of a passer and less of a runner. And it hasnt worked.
Griffin has never been a "passer"........he's just a thrower; Tom Brady is a passer, for comparison; for that matter so is Matthew Stafford; Griffin will never be a passer.. His biggest thing, hes been coddled for so long, Gruden said of Griffin.
Everyone wants black QB's to succeed so badly that their vison is blurred..............
Griffins time could run out because of the backup who won two games before Griffin returned from injury.
McCoy is likely not a long term answer or real NFL star, but maybe, just maybe, he might develop. Most successful NFL QB's take some time to develop but I really don't see McCoy being a star. Unless Griffin pushes another head coach out of town first.
Rather likely, but that will fix nothing & just be more stroking of Griffin's already monumental ego. MM
