Anyone have experience with this combo? Will it stabilize?

I've got a box of them I intend to try in my Tikka and my 1-14 Pre-64 220 Swift. I'm also interested to hear some other folks experiences.
Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

I've not had problems stabilizing them in 1:14, down to 218 Bee speeds. Never ran them over a chrono, but guessing 25xx. They were designed to work in 1:14 barrels.
They were the most accurate bullet I shot in my 223WSSM, a 1:12 I believe. I had a mild load with R-15 giving 35xx that would stack them at 100. Literally a tack driver. My first 5-shot 1/4 MOA groups were with this combo.

Good to hear. My 22-250 will not stabilize the 53 TSX, which is only a fuzz longer than the 55NBT, which it shoots great.

The 63 gr SMP is the heaviest bullet that will stabilize in my 220 (with a 1in 14). It is apparently just short enough to work. Shoots very accurately.

Shoots very accurately. if you want heavier, try the 70 grain SMP Speer...it will stabilize in a one in 14 twist also...at least in the 22.250s I have owned so twisted... my favorite 22 caliber bullet for deer, followed by the mentioned 63 grain SMP from Sierra

How'd these Sierra's perform on coyotes and such? Small exit wound?

I tried the 63 grain sierra on deer from my .222. No problems killing stuff with broadside shots. A few times with quartering two shots on larger deer I had the bullets come apart before entering the deer. My take on this is that the 63 grain sierra works fine for deer in a 1 in 14 twist however I do think that there are better bullets for deer and larger animals that it.
my deuce gets fed 45 grain x bullets now. I would also try the 50 grain x bullet.

Back in the '70's, I ran a couple boxes of 63 gr Sierras through a MK V in 22-250. They worked okay. But I much preferred the 60 gr Hornady for target work, ground squirrels, marmots, and deer.

That bullet is one of the most accurate loads in my Ruger M77 1:14 rifle. I have had very good results with this bullet in 1:14 twist barrels down through the 222 Rem.
