The subject says it all. Just picked up a Winchester 94 Trapper in 30-30 that was made in 1979. New, never been fired and still has the hang tag. Also what is the approximate value? Thanks

Why did you buy it if you don't know if you can shoot it???

I don't think a new post-64 will ever pay the kids college bills - enjoy it (baby it if you want to) but enjoy shooting it.

I don't think a new post-64 will ever pay the kids college bills - enjoy it (baby it if you want to) but enjoy shooting it. Spot on. Being a speed whore and tinkerer plus wildcatter, if it was mine I would punch it to 30/30AI, slap on a reciever peep then shoot it and hunt with it quite a lot.
