Was able to harvest this buck on November 12th. Connected after he answered my grunt call. He peered at me up over a knoll and gave me his neck and head straight on at 223 yards. Was on a three day hunt and only saw this buck and a few does. Nice buck! the pics remind me very much of the buck I took last year in WMU 516 in Alberta, the amount of snow and the landscape looks so similar! I hunt in 342 actually. If my memory serves me right did you not kill a huge buck out Wandering River way years ago??

It is great that your wife goes out with you! I tried it with mine but she only came out a couple times. I am hoping my son will enjoy it as much as I do, he is old enough to start coming along on short trips.
