The only policies he has advocated and/or implemented have been for the downfall of my country. Other than that he has the inverted Midas touch - everything he touches turns to $hit.

most, if not all of my Cuban friends will not be pleased. 'Isolation has not worked,' Obama said in remarks from the White House. 'It's time for a new approach.'
I think keeping the screws on Cuba as worked well for us. Not so good for Fidel, which was the idea in the first place. The communists in Cuba are particularly evil. Guess obama has forgotten Russian missiles based there. Guess he cares not for all the spying. No thought for the misery Cuban troops brought to Africa. The list is long, and the American grievances are real. This action is a travesty, and treasonous.

Obama 's deal with the Castro brothers pisses down the back of every person who gave their lives fighting against the loss of Cuba to Communism.
But I am not at all surprised by the move because Socialists of a feather will flock together and ultimately Obama is at his core a purely Socialist charlatan.

I understand your reasoning and support it. Anything O wants I am against. My comments about cigars and rum were mostly in jest. I love Havana Club rum but can live without it nicely.

How has our past policy NOT worked for the Castro brothers? They are still in power, richer than ever, and have a virtual monopoly on all business in the country.
Ninety percent of the board will tell you that in the United States free enterprise is the greatest force for positive change possible. Yet, those very same guys will decry free enterprise for Cuba and tell you that it will only enrich the commies.
