Unbelievable. He was a true southern gentleman. Happy to have called him a fellow Alabamian. Though I had never met him in person he and I had exchanged cast bullets on multiple times.
I am truly saddened to hear of his passing.

I only spoke to Mickey a handful of times but often read his posts. i don't sense he would want us to feel bad for him but, instead celebrate his return to the lords side

All I can say is we are diminished.
Mickey has left the range.
But I know more than a few critters are welcoming him right now.
We should strive to be as good a person as Mickey was. That would be the way to honor him.
Damn. Hard to believe.
