Just got on here and read this.

Did some gun stuff with him and would have liked to have met him in person.
Darn! we lost a good member and the LORD got a good gunsmith and a believer.

He will be missed.

A quote from Lonesome Dove when they buried Deets seems right for Mickey.

Never met Mickey, or called him, but he was as unfailingly polite, thoughtful and generous on the open forum as he was in private messages.

As many have said, not an unkind word, or a dispute, just good cheer, good sense, and a big heart.

He added much, and took away nothing.

Go with God, friend Mickey!

I most remember Mickey's statements of faith; not verbatim quotes but the meaning his words carried. He was certain of eternity. And he was certain of his personal relationship with God. For many of us there comes a singular time when we are convinced beyond doubt of the existence of a Creator. If Mickey did not have this experience I would be greatly surprised. With such an understanding the fear of physical death is diminished and the hope of eternal life is realized. And now Mickey has stepped across that divide. Jesus said "None comes to the Father except through me". Mickey was no exception. And now he has his reward. Will you?

Although I never met Mickey personally I believe I can say, just based on reading his posts here at the Campfire, that the world has lost a good man. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and his friends. RIP Mickey.

Sad day for the family and his family here. I don't post much but lurk everyday. I could tell he was a good man from his posts. As was said before many times, he will be missed.

That, I whole heartily believe. Damn the luck.

I always enjoyed his posts. He was always the Gentelman. I never met him but feel like I lost a friend. I will miss him. Rest in peace Mickey Coleman. Prayers are said for his family and friends. I'm sure his four legged friends already wonder where he is. God speed.
