Mickey, you will be missed Sir. Prayers sent for your family left behind and all who knew you. I tip my glass to you Sir. The 'Fire seems less bright tonight.

Wish I'd been as wise as Mickey was.
I've tried to reason with people whom I thought that I could reason with tried to inform people whom I thought would be interested in the information. But too many wanted to argue, scold, or "correct" instead of discussing or learning.
Mickey just smiled and kept his thoughts inside his head. I shoulda done likewise. Ya think you could just let this be about the passing of a good man. For Krist sake. Norm Sounds like the makings of a pity party to me.

From what I read in his posting here, he seemed like a most honorable gentleman. Condolences for his family.

I'm jealous! Woulda loved to go Home and left Mickey here to bless the 'Fire in his usual way.
Can't imagine Mickey posting anything in poor taste or mean-spirited such as, for example, slurs on family and family situations, and physical infirmities.

I never got to meet Mickey or speak with him. It is my loss. I did pvt message him a few times, looking for some advice, when I had a son that decided he wanted to go to gun smithing school and again when he had graduated. Mickey was a class act and his help was very much appreciated.

Sad to hear. Never met him but spoke with him twice on the phone.
The first time he answered and I asked if Mr. Coleman was available. He said I suppose but if you are looking for me, please call me Mickey. Nice man.

His kindness and generosity knew no bounds.
Years ago I replied t a thread on grits than good grits were not to me found in my part of the country. About ten days later ten pounds of great grits showed up in the mail. I enjoyed every bite.

When I think of Mickey Coleman I recall a line from Psalm 25. "Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on Thee."
A man of integrity and uprightness. Duly honored.
Christian, family man, artisan, friend.
His quality of character is rightly recognized and recalled among us.
Thanks for your example Mickey.
Rejoicing with you, Jim

I just read the terrible news. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He seemed like such a wonderfully kind, and incredibly genuine man. I will certainly miss his posts.

Good words, for a good man. Godspeed, Mr. Coleman.

Sad news indeed, he will be greatly missed.
