Can there be any fate awful enough for the son of a bitch who invented casters for bed frames?

Our bed is an antique oak frame. I made longer side rails so it will fit a queen mattress. The mattress sticks out a bit on each side so it gets the legs a little farther back underneath. The toes are safe. However, the foot board can poke a nice hole in my thigh when I wander back to bed from the bathroom at 3am.

Paul Revere was not the only one in peril on a midnight trip.
I tore the callus half off my big toe on a stair trim strip just before the Statler Brothers concert.
There was me, not wearin' my pointed toe boots, but lace oxfords amongst the crew of folks all decked out in western garb.
