My chronograph needed a new mode off transportation to and from the range so I set out to find a good alternative to the CED millennium 2 carry bag. While shopping at the local Walmart I discovered this hard shell rifle case. It's made by Plano and it's a lot like the pelican case I have for my camera equipment so I thought I would give it a try.

After configuring it the way I wanted, I think it turned out rather well. I was able to double stack the regular sky screen and the infrared sky screen by first laying the first infrared screen down first, then two regular screens, then the last infrared sky screen.

Now I have what I feel is the best alternative carry case for my chronny. What do you think?

Oh well..lol apologies none the less. It's related if you use your chronny for long range load development. So I guess it's sort of like a sister to my uncles half brother typ deal.

Seriously though. Carrying the CED to the range in the cardboard box it came in was getting old fast, and the bag that you can purchase for the CED left a lot to be desired. This was the best alternative I could find.
