I dont know when the stainless came out . I saw the rifle at Sportsmans Warehouse and bought it. I contacted Remington asking why it wasn,t listed on the site and they Sent me an e mail telling me it was a Special Limited Run and that is why they weren,t listed on the Remington site.

I hear you on the points. Just cashed in $1000 worth on some Euro HD 10x42 binos. I'd call whereever you plan to go to see if they have them in stock. Guy at my Cabelas store couldn't find one 7mag in the country a few months ago....
