Specifically .204 Ruger...supply has dried up, plenty of Fiocchi available and I have no experience...shooting out of a Savage LRPV 204 and soon a Cooper Model 21. anyone have experience with this ammo company and specific info on quality of cases for reloading.
Thanks for any info

They use good bullets made by American companies and I've shot some iddybiddy groups with their 308 stuff. The brass is not as good as Lapua or Norma IME but isn't bad.

Been shooting the Fiocchi stuff in 204 Ruger (32gr V-Max) for a while now. Can't complain about it. Last outing with the Tikka Varmint Stainless 204 put 20 rnds in a hole the dia of quarter ($0.25) at 200yds.

One of these days I'm gonna take the chrono with me and see how actual velocity from the Tikka compares to Fiocchi's published data.

I've used it in 22-250 55gr SBT, 243 Win 100gr NP and 270 win 130 NPs and found it to shoot adequate hunting groups and the brass isn't Lapua but seems better than last batch of R-P that I tried.

I got a heck of a buy on it before the big crunch.

I haven't shot the centerfire stuff, but the 22lr shoots really well in a couple of my 22's. I've been shooting in in the matches the last couple years and have done ok.

A few months back I purchased a box of their 223 62 gr fmj loads, I shot two groups from my Lar 15, groups measured .755 and .569, most accurate factory ammo that I have shot so far. Muzzle velocity however is not impressive, averages 2720 from a 16 inch barrel.

I've only used their 223 50 Vmax and 222 50 Vmax, but I've had excellent results.

Same with me. I tried some of the .223 , 50 grain V-Max's. On my concentricity gauge, it had .000 to .002 runout ( .002" was the MAX. Most were .000" )!! Velocity and accuracy was WAY better than the Black Hills I was using in another gun. So, I bought 2000 rounds of it from DSG Arms. Haven't reloaded the brass yet, but it seems to be better than Remington or Federal.

Get some. I believe you'll be pleased.

Used to shoot their 12 ga quite a bit. Double digit cases a summer. Was always very good.

Would be surprised if their CF rifle ammo wasn't as well.

My 204 Encore likes the 40 gr V Max and I have had good results with 308 165 game kings

I have experience with .223 only but I'd get any caliber in as much as I wanted as fast as I could at reasonable prices.

I've used these 50 gr V-max also in my RRA AR. They are more accurate than the Black Hills I've tried. However, if you go to reload the cases be careful. I've found the flash holes are off center for some reason. I'm sure they could break a decapping pin at some point. That was disappointing.

223 40 grain v-max shoots so good I quit reloading for my 223s when we were prairie dog shooting, as it was really cheap too. Now I have bunch of Fiocchi brass that needs reloaded.

I get really small groups with it.
