I found some bulk 300 ultra Mag brass with head stamp R-P. I assume its Remington brass, I have always used Nosler brass. Looking for any feed back good and bad on R-P brass. Thanks

R-P is indeed Remington manufacture. I've loaded for three Ultra Mags, always with Remington brass, never had an issue.

Same here, it's all we've used, and never had an issue with it.

I have gravitated toward R-P brass since WW brass (and components) seems to have taken a dive in quality.
In .30-30, the case capacity was essentially the same, only .1 grain (water) difference.

The R-P head stamp is a hold over from the old Remington-Peters line of ammo. I have used it for a lot of years without problems. Definitely better than Winchester.

I've found Remington brass to be harder and split necks faster than Winchester brass. Therefore, I lean towards annealing them earlier.

A sleeper I have happened upon is Prvi Partizan, or however you spell it, headstamped "PPU".
Not Lapua, but not bad at all, either.

On ultra mag I have found that making sure primer pockets are cut square helps& also annealing after each loading.
