you mean haluski? fried cabbage, noodles, butter, s&p. i make it all the time and can eat it for a meal no problem. when i have the house to myself for a week or so, i make a huge batch and eat it every day. i love it.

Not often, but yes. I usually harvest 4 or 5 cabbage from my garden. but I prefer to make freezer slaw, because I can then eat cabbage throughout the winter. I don't have a root cellar.

I fry cabbage but not meatless. I fry up a pound of bacon and set it aside. Then I grate a head of cabbage, slice the biggest onion I can find and drop it in the skillet with the bacon grease and cook it until it is done and crumble the bacon back in with the cabbage. Your heart will forgive you as long as you don't partake often. Bill
