When I got this rifle I was going to put a 2.5-10x42 IOR Tact on it but if I do it's going to look like a snake with a VW sitting on top. What kind of glass y'all running on your Kimber LW?
Want something with clarity and trackable
Very stiff fines if a buck doesn't score 125 so good glass is a must
Thanks

My 6X42 Leupolds are pretty clear and track well.

There's a 3X9X42 Kahles that just popped up in the classifieds. You won't find anything better if you can swing the price.

I'm running a 6x36, 6x42, and 2-7x32 Leupold on Montana's. None of them are bad, but I prefer the 6x42 by a good margin. Every 6x42 I've used has been repeatable, but the adjustments may vary from specs advertised....

I don't know anything about the scope you mentioned, so can't comment specifically on it. In general, worrying about the way an optic looks on a rifle is a waste of time, worry about the performance. There are a vocal few that get their panties in a knot if you put anything other than a lightweight optic on a Kimber, but heavier scopes balance just fine.

I have also had a Leupold 6x42 on my 84m and was very pleased with it. Great tracking, great glass, great eye relief.
