Not to worry, I packed provisions! We should arrive at the ranch mid-afternoon.

Whelen nut and myself have become members of a Texas bar.

It was a nice bar with your normal motorcycle gang and nice lovely well dressed women. I will have to return to that bar. My type of place.

We holed-up in Tex-arrrrrgh-kana last night, and are wrappin' up breakfast in Mt. Pleasant now. The plan is to hit the ranch < supper tonight.

Safe travels, all.

Heading out the door in a half hour or so for a last bit of shopping then to pick up Tom and Carl. I am thinking lunch in Devine and ranch arrival around 1 or so.

Glad to hear you boys are gettin' connected and enjoying some warm Texas weather!

I just loaded my daughters & fiance's/husbands onto a plane in San Angelo to fly back up to Wisco. Got to get some work done at the clinic today, wrapping up some charts etc, then should be able to hit the road at sunrise tomorrow. That'll put me at the ranch around noon.

If anybody needs any last-minute items after y'all get settled in and want me to pick 'em up, leave me a text or post it here. I'll check in around 6 tomorrow morning.

See how you are? Not 40 minutes from my ranch and you don't stop in to say "howdy".

Of course, I'm not there, but that is not important right now. grin

Here's some pics from 2 days ago. I had to leave the party abruptly last evening due to a work situation, so I don't have many pics. I expect others will follow through today and tomorrow.

EdM on the left, and ltppowell on the right. Pat had just said something unprintable...

This'n is a shot of Carl & me after shooting clays. He's holding the L.C.Smith 16 gauge I just bought, it's got 20-gauge Briley tubes in it. The gun I'm holding is my Ugartachea 20 gauge, a very light 20-gauge gun. Both guns seem to bust clays pretty good. Quite a bunch of us shot clays yesterday in between stuffing our faces and sitting in the blinds waiting for pigs to show up.

Here's one of me & the Poobah. He imparted much wisdom to the turdlike fellows who attended this here shindig.

Jr's pig was about 125 pounds maybe. He zipped her through the eye with the 300 Blackout and the result was an "El Floppo".

I didn't see any live snakes, but I'm sure the coon tailed bastids were lurking. (Judging from the two I saw brought into camp dead.)
