Anyone hear anymore about the Glock single stack nine that's supposed to be unveiled at the SHOT show?
It seems like it was the talk a few months ago but now nothing. Rumor is they can't it right and may not bring it out at SHOT.
Any other rumors floating around?

I'll take a single stack 10mm with about a 4" barrel.

The market has only been wanting one for 25 years, I hope they finally do it. If they do, Kahr Arms is in big trouble because Glock will do it better for less money. I just hope Glock's goal is THIN!!

From what I read, it's supposed to be the same as the Model 42 in .380. Only in a real caliber. Rumor has it that Glock has held release up so they wouldn't kill the sales of the new .380. If it's as rumored above, I'll buy the first one I see. And my Kahr CM-9 will be for sale shortly after

And my Kahr CM-9 will be for sale shortly after I heard the same rumor about it being the size of the 42 and about killing the 42 upon introduction. I was reading the other day though that by this time last year there were photos of the 42 released and it was listed in books to be ordered after shot. So far no photos or listing that I know of. S&W M&P Shield... ? Available with no thumb safety now.

I would be interested in a G43? when it became available also.
It does raise a few questions for me, would the existing G42 frame be able to handle the additional pressure of the 9mm? Most likely would not permit plus + 9mm loads but who knows????
Would the capacity be the same as the G42 at 6+1 in a 9mm? My guess is yes.
At 14oz empty and 7 rounds of 9mm in that compact size it would be a runaway winner that would take 3-5 years to meet the demand.

There's a new G40--it's a long slide 10mm with the slide milled for an RMR. Here's the product number--PG4030103MOS

When is the SHOT show????
I've got the 42 in .380, but would LOVE to have a single stack nine in about the same size!
Just wondering when the announcement might be coming?
Thanks! Virgil B.

I heard a 6+1 about the same as the 380 but a bit wider slide and frame. Personally I would rather see a 7 or 8 +1 with a 3.5 to 4"tube. The market is pretty well covered in the pocket nine area.

Springfield already has it, the XD-S 3.3 in 9mm
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.
