Got an email from Numrich about it the other day and thought for a brief minute that Hornady was going in the rifle business. They do state for the record very emphatically though that this is a one off and will not go into production.

Have to say I don't care for the square corner on the raised cheek piece. Or the grooves. Or the stock in general. Yuck.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.

Whole rifle looks like a POS to me.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Whole rifle looks like a POS to me. It's going to look good as display item in armory room of owners castle.

not my style but has some nice wood and engraving. i would find zero use for a gun like that. but then again, i would rather spend that kind of money on a truck.

I wasn't impressed either....thought I was the only one that felt that way.

It looks like the money is a fundraiser for a good hunting/shooting cause.
Other than that, the thing is an atrocity. Is it built on a Howa action or what?

Damn. Talk about a let down.
It looks like a Weatherby for the 21st century. Gitcha some inlays and spacers, it'd be complete.

An embarrassment. The stock needs a few hours with my friends rasp and sandpaper. Action looks pretty Howa to me.

Wow. Terribly ugly thing that started as a beautiful piece of wood. I would take that stock off and bed the rifle in a yellow/orange/black McSwirly.
