What do you guys use to haul all your gear from the trunk of your car to the shooting bench at the range with? Looking for ideas for some kind of wheeled cart, prefer something with 6" wheels so it will roll easily over grass or uneven ground. I don't use this real frequently so keeping cost about $100 or so would be ideal. I'd like it if you could post pics of your rigs. Thanks.

Being how my shooting bench is usually the tail gate on my truck, it's not much of a haul......

Get a modern baby stroller at a yardsale for a few bucks. Modify as needed. Works great, folds for transport.

It appears that the guy in the background is running and carrying a gun that is almost as scary as the thought of having the 350 lbs of blubber fall on you.

A Rubbermaid plastic storage box from WalMart. Forget the volume designation (xx gallons) but they're about 20Lx13Wx16H with a lid and are stackable and tough as nails. The one I'm currently using is well over 20 years old. I can drive right up to the firing line nowadays but when I couldn't I'd put it or them on a cheap hand truck. Rifles in soft cases were placed upright on top of the storage box and held in place with a bungee cord.

These days I just use one box and keep everything I need in it - chronograph, rear bag, benchtop spotting scope. Ear muffs, small tools, pens and odds and ends go into an MTM dry box inside the biger storage box. When I go shooting all I need do is put that days ammo in the storage bin and load it up - everything else is already there so I don't forget it.

Depending on how much you spend for the hand cart total cost is probably under $50-$60, I got a really cheap one but like the container it's served well for some 20 years at least.

I got a convertible like this one so it can be used as an upright dolly or move the handle and use it as a 4 wheel cart. The latter was very useful moving several storage boxes at once into gunshows.

Right? I just pile it in my Rhino, but you see a bunch of these at the sporting clays ranges.

I like this and it will take a load. Very heavy duty. Plenty of room for front and rear rests too. I think this is the size I have.

Your post made me think that maybe one of those coolers with wheels would work pretty well.

I've seen them made from strollers as shown above, and modified golf bag carts also.

Would think a guy could throw together something decent from a yard sale golf bag cart. Quick google comes up with:

I have a rolling tote made by Sears that will hold everything except long guns. Couldn't find the exact one but this is close.
