I am looking for a sight hood for a Remington Model 7 Custom Shop MS. Would the 700 hood work?

Don't know that I've ever seen a Remington 700 with a front sight hood.
Good luck getting any help from Remington's custom shop, I don't think that they have returned a message that I have left in their voice-mail.

Yep I got a 7MS in 350 mag. Was missing the front hood. I wanted to modify it anyways so I ordered two. I put a fiber optic front sight on it. To allow more light to the sight I cut out about 2/3s of the top of the hood. Surprisingly I got it right on the first try and did not use the second one. So it is still in the package and the factory part number is Remington F15363. Which matches midways number. I got mine from brownells.
