Are the switch-barrel CVA "Apex" rifles still available?
I searched their closest listed dealer (the Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga, CA) and didn't find CVA listed at all there. Are they still making these. Anybody have an online source? (I see Bergara Barrels is still listing spare barrels on their website).

CVA.com still shows them. I really like the look and feel of the Apex.

Me, too. And I don't much like the Encore; prefer the G2, except for the caliber/guage limitations of the smaller action. The Apex I handled and shot seemed like a decent compromise of strength, weight and bulk.

That echoes my thoughts to a T. I have three Contenders and no Encores. I messed up and passed on an Apex .50 caliber muzzleloader at Academy. They marked it down from $399, which was already a good deal to $339, but I had car repair bills that wiped out the gun fund. I didn't need another muzzleloader, but if that Apex had been a centerfire, i would have bought it anyway.

I walked by the CVA booth at the SHOT show last week and the Apex is still being shown. I wanted to check to see if any additional centerfire barrel calibers might be offered for 2015 but it's still the same group. I own and shoot the Apex and believe it to be an excellent value. I have a BP barrel and several centerfire barrels. Great trigger and well balanced.

Academy still carries CVA Apex rifles but only in 3 calibers, last year they carried several calibers. Not a big seller for them I guess?
