I have Vanguards in .223 Rem and 6.5 Creedmoor that I am considering putting different stock on. The best option I have seen (especially for the money) is the Boyds Laminate. Any thoughts on other stocks out there for this series and estimated price?

I've also been considering something for an X-Bolt, but the options seem pretty limited there. Thanks!

I have restocked two Vanguard 2s in 6.5 Creedmoor, one with a Boyds Prairie Hunter laminated and one with a McM Hunter. The Boyds stocks only costs about 1/5th of the McMillan, but the McMillan fits me so much better and is significantly lighter, so for me the added value is worth the extra $$. I am thinking about pulling the Boyds stock and reinstalling the OEM synthetic stock.
