I have only hunted up there a couple of times and it was during the archery deer hunts.

Does anyone have suggestions for the late bull hunt beside the Boquillas ranch?

I know some big bulls come out of 10, I am hoping to find a decent bull for my son who has drawn his first bull tag. After 2 cows, he decided it was time for bulls or bust.

a good friend of mine is up there scouting as we speak. I know things will change by the fall hunt, but at least there is a good starting point. Plus another friend of mine knows that area really well. I'll see what I can get for you. Call me when you can too.

Dennis, Try the area around the north east end of Monument Wash. Scout west of the road out of Ashfork. DO NOT HUNT OR SCOUT EAST OF THE ROAD! There have been some big bulls in that area and also the area around Black Tank, but that's on the Boquillas. We are hunting that bull hunt in November.

Why don't you want to hunt on Boquillas?

Have you looked at Paradise Ridge on Kaibab FS land? Or Cataract Canyon north of the RR tracks?
