^ 1 just like that. It works pretty good for the 1/2 to 3/4 mile walks to my firing point. I'd like to get a scheller? cart but a little too pricey.

I ended up with a hand basket from a super market. Works great except for my front rest is always in the way. Pretty handy.

gunwizard, This isn't really an answer to your question, but I simply can't resist! If I'am carrying the bare essentials, I just carry it out the back door to the bench(43 yrds.) If I'm "saddled" with multiple rifles, chrno, ect., I throw it all in the back of the Polaris Ranger to make the trip!! grin memtb

I'm thinking we should build a custom campfire cart. Anybody know where we can find a couple artillery shells, ammo cans and a canteen? The canteen needs to be stainless as aluminum is just plain hokey. wink

Those might be the "girlymen" you mentioned in another thread that use a .22 or .24 centerfire for deer! Yet, they can pack their own stuff to the range. Quite ironic.

My 'range' is BLM land. I park and set up my portable bench a whole 6' from the pickup, usually on the downwind side to minimize wind problems.

The club I belong to has kind of a unique deal....you park your vehicle and then lug all your gear 250 yards down a blacktop 6' wide road to the covered benches. It is a 300 yard range and also the only one around for many miles.

The wagon works fine; I probably look a bit odd hauling a couple custom guns or a NULA or two in a beat up little red wagon with all the other guys having some purpose built fancy cart.

This is a pretty neat little FOLDING cart that I believe is called a garden cart?? A customer showed it to me while I was working in his house last year. I have seen it for sale at Target Online and Amazon.

Very slick deal and reasonable.................

Good solution. Kinda sucky rules. But then we had to carry all our service rifle gear for many years about the same... stools with wheels.

I'm lucky, I have my private range to 600 out the back door, just drive up to whichever bench I want to use.

Lawdwaz has posted a pic of a cart that will fit my needs for which I thanked him. It is bedtime for the rest of you kiddies and your worthless babble. Goodnight.

gunwizard, I did not mean to offend. Some handle it better than others, I guess that you are of the others group. I'll attemp to do better in the future. memtb

I've got one of those kid haulers folks drag around behind their bikes. What the heck-the price was right. It was free. I've used that thing to lug my ice fishing gear, shooting equipment on the range, and hope some day to drag out a nice deer with it. (If I ever shoot one again, that is.)
