This month (December) in "Combat Handguns" there were two articles I found interesting.

The first starting on page 70 "New Taurus Hex Bullets" gives information such as bullet weight,
muzzle velocity, accuracy and bullet performance that I didn't have when I posted info about this new cartridge concept. Muzzle velocity 1000 fps, bullet weight 185 grains, 411 foot pound muzzle energy.

The bullet begins upsetting at 650 foot pounds and fully expands at 850 feet per second. The bullet
retains 100% of its bullet weight. The bullet is segmented in six places and opens up like a six petal
flower or six bladed rotating slice and dicer.

The recoil is relatively mild and the round is accurate.

The bullet is manufactured by Barnes Bullets, Inc. The powder comes from Hodgdon Powder Company.
The cartridge is assembled by PMC.

I have shot some of the new ammo. My groups at 35 yards were under 3" and well centered. The
recoil was as reported in CH relatively light.

Obviously the article is much better crafted than my poor effort. But I have tried to report the high
points.
