300 Win Mag, 180 Trophy Copper at 420 yards. Always saw the cartridge as a very sensible icon, very happy to have made a kill with it.

I think so. I think they made two with the FN action and one had a little nicer stock. Mine was the base model with no checkering.

Ruger Mark II, 257 Roberts with 110gr. Accubond hand load. 75 yards, deer jumped cartwheeled fini. No recovered projectile, round went on thru.

Shot a buck w/ my wife's 25-06 around Thanksgiving. May hunt with my son's 7mm-08 this weekend just for a change from old reliable.
