That is exactly the liberal blueprint.

They cram "tolerance and acceptance" down our throats, until it's time for them to live up to what they preach. tired

There are going to be a lot of criminals in this county when the lead ban finally goes thru, also if they outlaw shooting coyotes. State will make a lot of money on fines lol. ED

I think the Adin contest caused a lot of attention, but I damn sure don't see anything wrong with it. They have the Surprise Valley squirrel wars, it use to be a contest, now it is a dinner and a raffle. Surprise Valley is just over the mountain from my home, I don't shoot there as I haven't killed all the rats on this side of the Warners yet lol. I have shot a lot of coyotes, not a caller, just shoot them when I see them and I see a lot of them lol. ED

Screw this playing along trying to act like coyote killing shouldn't be celebrated in a county that could use the revenue and fewer coyotes for the cattleman who benefit from it. All because some Fish & "Wildlife" a$$hole is giving us a proper d1cking.

RobJordan is basically saying "don't give them a reason". The problem is, they don't use reasoning. It's all feel good bullschit. The only reason political correctness works is because we let it. F' em. Go get em Salmonella!

The moderator deleted all my post, before they could be seen by anyone.

So, I tried to post again, just a few minutes ago, and my post wont even show. Either the site wont accept anymore post, or they have made any post from me auto-delete.

Screw-em!

Does that law/regulation also apply for fishing events where one is hoping to bring in tagged quarry?

I swear you guys out in KA can't buy a break. Any friends of mine still left out there feel like they're being trapped.

Tony, Rest in Peace, My Brother. I miss you, man. (Great friend killed in a diving accident off Catalina).

I went to the Reno gunshow, went home via Adin and attended the dinner. The F&W was well represented at the dinner. Two local fishcops and a Lt. The Lt. left before the function was over, think he was just hanging around to see if there was any prizes awarded for killing coyotes. All prizes were raffled the only thing the coyote hunters won was an applause. A rough hand count of the number of coyotes taken was asked for. Think the high number for one hunter was six. The dinner was well attended and numerous rifle, shotgun, bows and a chainsaw were raffled. Ed

Spent a few days with some great folks.
Coyote hunting was DAMN Tough....rain had things a sloppy mess and a screaming windstorm made calling very ineffective keeping most of the coyotes safe.
With coyote hunting becoming more popular, those doggies were incredibly spooky, they'd hightail it at full throttle if they see a pickup stop a mile away.
I got a long poke at one in howling wind at long range and let my team down... frown

The highlight of the weekend was the dinner on Saturday night, 250 good folks attended.
It brought a tear to my eye as I thanked the founder of this event, shaking his hand as I looked around the room and saw men, women and children with true western outdoor heritage, salt of the earth folks, ranchers, farmers and hunters.
Cowboy boots & hats, Wranglers, Camo, NRA shirts, State of Jefferson hats, I knew I was with MY people and it never felt so good.
I thanked him for bringing us all together telling him that "This is MY America" regardless of fact that we live in a hostile state bent on destroying us.
Possibly the best sporting event dinner I've ever attended, the friendship and feeling of solidarity was amazing.
I love those people.

There was certainly a law enforcement presence, with three department of fish & wildlife trucks and a Modoc County Sheriff's Deputy there for what reason baffles me... crazy
I suspect there were threats and much treehugger outcry from the idiots that live more than six hours away.
Until next time...

Thanks for the follow-up Salm. Good to be around "normal" Americans, isn't it? Good for you.
