Hopefully this is the right forum, if not I apologize...

I have an old Sako with vintage mounts and need help identifying them so I can get the correct replacement screws. I've been told they are Original Sako's as well as Redfields, Burris', and Leupolds. I've researched the internet at large and for the life of me cannot find out definitively who made these mounts even though they are on so many vintage Sako's.

I've found a source that sells vintage Sako mount screws but I'm not sure these are Sako branded mounts.

Any help is truly appreciated, pics below.

MJS,

Those are not vintage Sako mounts. They are Redfield mounts as MM stated. Burris made similar mounts.

Well they aren't sako, or leupold.
My guess is the bases are redfield, the rings burris.
Why not just unscrew a screw and measure it up?

Easy to google Sako mounts and see what they look like. As stated, you can always take them off. confused

Many thanks to all! I thought they looked like Refield bases after comparing them to all the pictures I have seen....but what was throwing me off was the rings don't look like Redfield as the Redfield rings only had one screw on each side instead of two. I was assuming the bases and rings were from the same manufacturer which is incorrect.

Very much appreciated!

Forgot to mention the other thing throwing me off is I have been told Redfield bases had an R imprinted on them which mine don't have.

Thanks again,
MJS
