Relisting because I derailed my original post, so here it is again, a little cleaner.
My Remington Rolling Block Project that will die in my closet unless someone saves it.
The action was utilized in the Swedish Arsenal but is actually a Remington made action, eventually overhauled, heat treated, new extractor, blocks etc, and rebarreled to 8x58D then sequestered for a century or so.
I purchased an unfired factory Remington barrel in 45-70 to spin on it a 30" half round half octagon - (no longer in stock via that supplier) already threaded with sight dovetails but cut for the sliding extractor - still convertible to rotary extractor with some metal work.
Barrel needs to be indexed with about 0.03" taken off the shoulder to get it in before you can check the breech block.
The action is currently disassembled.
It is an antique, so it ships direct.
It is an antique, so BLACK POWDER is your best bet here.
The Swedish 8mm barrel is not included as I have it as a project now.
The walnut butt stock (ugly,
long LOP, but in-tact enough for you to finish into a usable item), and the forearm is included.
Pics of action before dis-assembly:

I always thought that after 100+ years it would be nice to hook up the Remington stamped action with a Remington stamped barrel, hopefully someone else picks up the ball.
Asking $485 + shipping.
