As you can tell, I'm a bit fond of Gold Dots but any of the stuff I've mentioned I would trust my life on.
It ain't what you don't know that makes you an idiot...it's what you know for certain, that just ain't so...
Most people don't want to believe the truth~they want the truth to be what they believe.
In my Colt's Lightweight Commander there are nine factory 230 grains Hydra Shok rounds. I also carry a spare magazine loaded with eight of the same rounds.
I figure if I were to be unfortunate enough to get into a very bad situation and couldn't shoot my way out of it with those 17 rounds I'd just have to say "Feets, don't fail me now!"

America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.
Top drawer ammo in my 38 snub, as in whatever is rolling around in the top drawer of the nightstand. Mostly 158gr swc, 155 swc, or 146gr swchp loaded with Unique or 700X but there's some Winchester silvertips, SPs, and remington 125hps in the mix too. I don't worry about what's in it so much as that it's loaded and in my pocket.
Speer factory 230 gold dots in my 45 and Speer factory 9mm 124 gold dots in the PF9, in my S&W 360 woods carry I carry 158 XTP handloads, although its not really a CC weapon.

329PD in 44 Magnum, Blazer aluminum cased 240gr HP's most of the time. The Aluminum cases reduce the overall packing and ready to shoot weight of this gun even more than with regular ammunition. With my now good leather, the gun is not noticeable to me or any kind of a burden, all day long.
Rarely carried Kel Tec P3AT 380 gets a every other round mix of Buffalo Bore +P+ 100gr FNHC and 90gr HP's. Both loads put the little 380 right on the heels of a 9mm, performance wise, in a 10 ounce shirt pocket sized package.

I mostly carry hand loads in mine.I will occasionally buy factory if I run into a real good buy.or I want to test some offering.I load Gold dots and xtp's in 9's,45,38spl and 357. These loads have been developed by me for my guns over the years and I have every faith they will preform as needed.
