friend says he gets about 15 feet longer casts using this product.sprays entire reel & line, lets dry & swears by it.any one have some feed back. thanks cranky72

It does work to make (slightly) longer casts. But it doesn't last long.

Yeah, it does help a little, but not for long. I use it when saltwater fishing to protect my rod's eyes where I don't like using WD-40 or other protective sprays that may contaminate the monofilament.

I can't say about the 15 ft. longer casts but I agree it casts easier. It's worked well on new or old monofilament for me. Seems to make the line more limber for lack of a better word, takes out the tighter curls in line that's been on a reel for a while. IME if you put enough on the spooled line and give it time to soak in it's usually good for a half day or more fishing.
