F' the cat, too close to the livestock!! From CA Bobcat regs, c) The holder of a bobcat hunting tag shall carry the tag while hunting bobcats. Upon the harvesting of any bobcat, the hunter shall immediately fill the tag completely, legibly, and permanently, and cut out or punch out and completely remove notches or punch holes for the month and date of the kill. One part of the tag shall be immediately attached to the pelt and kept attached until it is tanned, dried or mounted. The other part of the tag shall be sent immediately to the department. http://www.fgc.ca.gov/regulations/current/mammalregs.aspx#460I couldn't find anything in the regs where kicking em in the ditch and saying F-em was allowed.

Took our "end of the 'line" picture.... We aren't done officially until Saturday, but we're going to sell tomorrow. Missing some coyotes and a badger, but oh well. IMG_9865 by mtcurmanIMG_9867 by mtcurmanIt's been a heck of a fun season, and hopefully we'll get one or two more cats before it's all said and done. Ben

Hey FieldGrade, who said I shot it in Ca, and I threw it in a ditch? You have your facts a little screwed up!

What's with the blue tape on the rifle?
It's a Campfire tradition, started when JeffO said you shouldn't use it because it will spook deer off when you are aiming your rifle at them. And I don't want to plug the barrel riding around with the muzzle on the floorboards.. I got it, cool
I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6!

Thanks, Remi is the first cur we've had but won't be the last! I love curs.. They're so tractable and easy to hunt with. I hope it warms up enough for coons to start running out here so we can get after them with ours.. And the bobcat tasted a lot like wabbit.. Travis was tearing it up... Shrap, nice! Looks like you didn't get the big snow we did.
