... at the top of their lungs about "Who will protect them", with the looming Homeland Security shutdown. I reckon that's all that's left for them to do after depending on big brother for everything. I think it's funny how they are pissing their pants. Scared of their own shadow... But, too stupid to be afraid of who they think is protecting them.Of course it's republicans that are made out to be the bad guys again. hy·per·bo·le hīˈpərbəlē/Submit noun exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally. synonyms: exaggeration, overstatement, magnification, embroidery, embellishment, excess, overkill, rhetoric; More antonyms: understatement Origin late Middle English: via Latin from Greek huperbolē (see hyperbola). Everybody is overlooking the swap that has occurred between the Democrats and the Republicans. In Lincolns time the Republicans were the big government and the Democrats the small, now it is the opposite, with the older Republicans being close to Democrats and the Tea Party section being the most conservative. Tea party is where I currently lean, but they do have some that are close to nut cases. miles

in the first place, there is no 'looming Homeland Security shutdown', and even if there were, 95% of HS would continue to run as normal, due to how the department gets funded.

They didn't exist until January 2009 when they were needed to really combat Obama. The President's 2005 ban on semi-auto replacement parts was , the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003, No Child Left Behind Act of 2002, with all perfectly fine with them/us(ie, you and me). Got a little tricky in the Fall of 2008 when you and I had to tell crazy libertarian/constitutionalist types they needed to vote McCain because Obama voted for the bailouts, but that is just what you and I have to do. Heck, you and I even wanted Romneycare which Obamacare was modeled after.

What about the Afreakin and Moslem and Mexican nations the dimocraps are building within our borders?

What about the Afreakin and Moslem and Mexican nations the dimocraps are building within our borders? We were building those a decade ago. Like everything else, the democrats just grabbed on to our coat tails. When the next Republican gets in, all that stuff will be ok once more.

If they had any issue with how straight ticket Republicans like you and I wanted things they would have invented themselves long before then. The TP still, obviously, does not "exist" as a political entity. That's the media's way of branding people who still believe in the Consitution and "normal" ways of conducting government. It's a philosophy,a way of thinking about how government should be run, what it should and should not do,and it has always existed in this country. The problem today is that so many people are so badly educated, unfounded in governing principles, and lacking any political/philosophical foundations after years of left wing indoctrination, that mainstream Republicans are hard to distinguish from Democrats; and the Democrats have become fascist/socialists. I have never seen it so bad and it seems to get worse every year. The country today is run by people with heads full of manure and are utterly without scruples. Of course the Dems are going to worry who will protect them....they are fundamentally cowards, and always look to someone else to do their dirty work.

The democrats have copied the Republicans, not the other way around. Always have, always will. Just like the M855 ban. Reagan(we all adore) did the AP ammo ban in 1986. The TP doesn't exist other than as a marketing angle. We need new Republican voters and if we can trick libertarians/constitutionalists in to voting for our side then so be it.

Wonder who was to protect the idiots before DHS..... DHS is nothing but more redundancy in services. That abounds by big government.
