First decent snow of the year here, just had to grab the old rifle and head for the brush. Saw more coyote and bobcat tracks back in the hollows than rabbit tracks but got two close to the house. Hate that I had to go to a fiber optic front sight, but with these old eyes it at least allows me to keep the family heirloom rifle in use. NOE 260283 PB mould, 9.6 gr. 4198 for 1400fps out of the 1906 M94 Marlin 25-20.

Rabbit hunting in the snow is always a good time. Looks like you had a good hunt with the added class of using a rifle like that! Thanks for sharing the picture.

Like that 25-20 too! Me too, my favorite woods loafing, catch as catch can type rifle. It's been neglected the last few years, time to put it back to use.

Love the .25-20. Wish my Marlin were as old as yours...someday I guess it will be.

I have never had the pleasure of hunting rabbits in the snow. Most of mine were killed in Orange groves. That sure looks like fun, and wow, a .25-20? Over the top.

Hold into the wind VarmintGuy Now mind you, that those few "poor sports" here that owe the Seahawks, Russel Wilson, Marshawn Lynch, and their fans an apology - man up and get it done, here publically, or I will call you out individually and by name!
