funny you should mention that Jorge. Happens all the time on the Fla Turnpike between Wildwood and Orlando. All those hills, and yeah, a truck wanting to go half a MPH faster than the other one pulls over, and takes about 15 min to accomplish the pass.
I always pull ahead of 'em when I can, and give them the finger. laugh

Makes me nuts. I was just on the TP last week visiting my folks down in Coconut Grove.

You don't see the motorhome holding up 10 vehicles?

Doing about 40 in a 55 on a Fri afternoon. That's a capital offense here.

And that's why the doofus driving the speed governed truck shouldn't attempt to pass in the first place.

I've been in those trucks . don't know if the other drivers are like me but trust me I don't like the situation any better than the people around me. I move big heavy wide excavation equpiment quite a bit as well as drive slow tractors and such on the road . been invovlved in road constuction many times. The dumb [bleep] you seen peole do that might lose a minute or two of thier day is incredible !! For the most part it's big city people that have the common sense of a woodpecker. Yes I will agree there are a lot "truck drivers" out there that shouldn't be truck drivers

We call em "Slug Races" but they're beat down worthy no matter what you call em.

Where do Subaru drivers and bicycles stand?
Beat down or just a forfeiture of man card and hunting license?

In California NOT ONLY the truckers, but NO ONE knows the regulations and/or laws, and;

NO ONE enforces them!

As to the original question;

what rates a roadside beat down?

Nothing inspires road rage in me more than those phuggers especially when they have plenty of room to move over, then they finally move over when there is no way you can get around them. They should all be shot on sight.

Another add on for that is those drivers that speed up when you finally get a chance to pass, and then slow down when you can't. I know they do that deliberately.
