I am going to strip and refinish a stock that has a yellowing clear finish on it. It has white line spacers in the fore end. I don't want to melt the white line. Any recommendations on a paint stripper?

carefully sand down the finish around the white line about 1-1 1/4th inch on either side of it to just expose the wood and white line spacer, go no deeper with your sanding tape it all up as a boundary then chemical strip the rest of the stock how ever you are gonna do it and stay well away from overlap on the tape while doing so leave a little wood exposed (bout 1/4th inch)on the taped portions so you can see the boundary to stay away from
bout the only way to do it I geuss
