I still can't figure out why these discontinued remington rifles (xcr, titaniums, etc.) continue to sell for so much money. I had a couple Ti's and I was never impressed really.....not for the money they've been fetching. Can't imagine the xcr being much different.

My buddy just bought one 2 weeks ago from a guy here in Georgia for $600. It was in .308 though.

Dunno what it actually sold for (if at all).

Sold mine in 243 here on the campfire this fall for 860, used in good condition, but with a CDL stock instead of the factory

I have bought 2 Model 7 XCRs. One 308 & one 270 and I paid $800 for the 308 & $999 for the 270. I bought both two years ago a couple of months apart when you could still find a few on the popular gun sales web sites. I am currently looking (and have been for two years) for a 7mm 08 & would pay $1,250. I hope this helps.

I would imagine it sold for more than the $1099. It started as a 3 day auction, but was ended the next day. That tells me that someone most likely made an offer that couldn't be refused, and Gunbroker got stiffed on their fees.

Why don't you just list it on Gunbroker like you do your other stuff? Or, if you want to sell it here, then put a price on it and quit fishing.
