I have one on a Kimber Hunter .22 l.r., and I don't know what I can tell you except that it works well, and looks balanced in proportion to the rifle. If you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them.

I've got one on a Sako FinnFire 22 LR. Works great! I sent it back to Leupold, and had a Leupold dot reticle installed. The parallax is adjustable down to 15 yards, and is "shootable" on 9X down to the closer ranges. Wish I had a cupple more of 'em! Virgil B.

Got one coming for a Kimber .22 also from Cabelas'. Debated about 4X12 AO. but decided on the II EFR due to having previous experience.
Maybe we could do a "difference" comparison between users. Got any ideas or suggestions?
Should mention, I'm a firm believer that people DO see differently between optics. Have no idea why or how so, but seems to follow not everyone likes, sees, or uses the same type of eyeglass and prescription.

Anyone know where you can find one less than $349.00 shipped or is that a good price?

Ditto the above comments. I love mine and it looks great on my 452 American. I paid a good bit less than that but I bought mine from RickBin and I believe Leupold quit selling to him... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

The 349 price was about as good as found here. Some are little less, some more, but you have to check the postage deal to come out a little ahead.
If remember Rick was best price, but Leupold shut him off before I got ready to order.
Sometimes: Graf & Sons is right in there with anyone for lowest price.
Question for anyone: Did they come out with matte for sure, would rather have had matte in the E.F.R.? That is usually my luck when ordering. They come out with the rather have after I order.

remseven,
I recently bought mine through the Optic Zone as the had both the matte finish w/ fine duplex as well as the more common gloss w/ fine duplex.
As previous poster indicated regarding the cheaper price: they might not include free s/h. With the optic zone I also got the free mounting tool and lens pen (my picks from a list)--this a promo from Leupold so all should have same offer.

I don't have that particular scope, but what I had was a VXII 2-7x33 with a 4A reticle lying around. I sent it to Leu and had the paralax adjusted to 75 yrds.
The scope is mounted to my heavey barrel 10/22 and it works great. I like the 4a recticle better on my squirrel rifle than my big game rifle. The heavey cross hairs help me find the little buggers amounst the tree limbs and leafs. The wide spacing between the posts give me a fine crosshair for making the shot.
A wide duplex would serve the same function.

Wouldn't you know, my luck again, he, he. Got the glossy today from Cabelas. Of course, their next hunt catalog will probably list the matte too!
By the way, this is first VXII E.F.R., and could tell right away it is brghter than my old ones. The extra coatings sure seem to help.
Hope to have mounted on .22 and check her out tomorrow about evening time, as the light begins to dim.
