Then somebody HAS to ask Obama about it! Anyone know for sure it its true...not familiar with this website. It’s a pretty impressive story of how job creation in just one state – Texas – is solely responsible for the 1.169 million net increase in total US employment (+1,444,290 Texas jobs minus the 275,290 non-Texas job loss) in the seven year period between the start of the Great Recession in December 2007 and December 2014.

Well if license plates are a good indicator then its true.

Wouldn't suprise me at all. Our State Economy was very while both Bush & Perry were Governors. Perry may not come across as a smooth political debater, but he would make a great POTUS, IMO. And He damn sure knows how to balance a budget!

Texas = RTW state.
Just sayin'.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

I don't know if that's true. Florida, in 2014, created over 250,000 jobs.

I don't know if that's true. Florida, in 2014, created over 250,000 jobs. Yes, but how many lost elsewhere. Take TX out of the equation and what do the other 49 states (56 in Hussein math) equal out to?

According to the latest articles I've read, it seems that ALL the jobs created under the current regime have gone to foreign born workers. I believe 80% of them have been part time jobs also. I'm not taking anything from Texas, but these are two things the Obama cheerleaders never bring up when touting all the awesome success that has taken place under their beloved fundamental transformer. It's a sham anyway, as real unemployment is about 4 times what the government is claiming.

Not to take any wind from your sails but Western ND and the surrounding Bakken area has had an amazing boom over the last few years.

The heavy work in ND started in about 2001 and was has pretty much been in full swing since the current regime took power, so it probably doesn't play into it as much as you might think over that time frame. There has been a bigger uptick over the last few years, prior to the collapse of the price of oil, but it was well underway when Obama took office.

Not giving any credit to the great O. Just saying it hasn't been all Texas over the last four or so years.

In silicon valley it is booming, but I.m not sure if the rest of the state counters Santa Clara.

Not giving any credit to the great O. Just saying it hasn't been all Texas over the last four or so years. Well you have to counter your states job production with jobs lost to know if your state contributed to the overall jobs gain, or to job losses. I guess this article is saying TX is the only state in the black on overall job creation...most of it do to sweetheart tax agreements luring companies out of CA into TX. Funny when I hear NY offering tax breaks for companies to come to NY, while they pound the companies already there...isn't that sweet?
