Thanks for the rink. I'd like to hold out until I can find a supplier that as enough powders in stock to order six 8# kegs to make the most out of the hazmat fee and shipping, and I don't need six kegs of H-110.

I did just theoretically order 1/2 case of RWS 22 lr ammo

but I'm not sure if the seller has it in stock or not as it allowed me to order it, but then their website showed it out of stock. Maybe I just eaked the order in just in time?

Just now stopped in the local mom and pop.

Lots of 22lr. All pretty spendy.

The Winchester 22lr 100 packs were $10.99 and bricks were about $45.

Kinda a common theme. The stores that keep it on the shelves do so by jacking up the price. Not many people buying at those prices, hence it always sitting on the shelves.

Stopped at a LGS today and they had a few 50 count boxes of Winchester Wildcat 40 grain at $5.50 per box. I shot the schidt with the owner awhile and bought a couple of boxes.

Nice guy...handy shop to have around. He has to compete with Cabela's 3 miles up the road.

But less than gun show prices I'm sure.

Hah, I guess there is at least one advantage to living in upstate NY. LGS has had .22 LR in stock continuously since Nov.. Right now has LRHP mini mags for 8.99/100, CCI SVLR 7.99/100, Fed. Am. Eagle 2.49/40, Rem. Yellow Jacket 85.00/1400. Dick's has Thunderbolts 25.00/500, Fed. auto match 19.99/325, Win. 333 19.99. Been pretty much constant supply here since fall.

Couldn't tell ya. I got board getting all the old fuggers red faced by low balling their over priced crap and haven't been in a year or two.

Couple of weeks ago a shop over in Boise was advertising he had a pallet of Armscor 22LR for $65 a brick.

I avoid Boise and that shop if possible, so no idea if any is left.

A week ago, I bought Federal .308, .39-30, and Unique (limit two) at Cabela's. Academy had Remington .22 and some strange to me brand, with the same limit.

Four weeks ago, a shop in Austin had a good bit of CCI but the Two limit. First hollow points I have seen and priced at the new norm. They also had magnums, solid and HP, and .17's.

Was in my LGS today and didn't see anything but .17HMR, Stingers, and shotshells.

I did pick up 1000 209 primers, Reloader 15, and the first CFE223 I've ever seen.

I was in aother LGS yesterday, but didn't even look as the last time I looked, they wanted $9.95 for a box of Blazers.

Bought 4X50 at a local box sporting store last night. They had about 20 and limited to 4 Rem Thunderbolt. First plinkers I have seen for a long time.

Our big box stores are almost always out. As soon as they get it in they sell out the same day it seems even with a 2 box limit. The smaller gun shops in my area don't get bricks very often. But usually have some kind of 22lr 50 rd boxes available even with a 4 box limit they manage to keep it. You can't be picky though about it. One week it might be CCI... the next Remington. Also the prices vary even on the same brand ammo from shipment to shipment. They usually manage to keep it pretty reasonable. If I'm in dire need of it I'll stop in and get a few boxes. I've went to ordering ammo online exclusively to get the same brand and make ammo every time. I would love to support the local guys, but if they don't have what I want then they don't have it.

I checked the Walmart ammo tracker that was posted here not long ago - Walmart ammo tracker. As usual, nothing available. Then for the hell of it, I checked it again 10 minutes later. Bingo! First time in a couple of years. They had three 1,000 rounds big bricks. Another guy got there right after me so I took two and let him have one. Right at $100 for 2,000 rounds. Score!

Where the hell is that?!?

Here in the North Bay Area and even the Sacramento Area, I haven't seen anything close to what's pictured!
