Guys, firstly my apologies if this has been covered.
I have a Kimber Mountain Assent in 30/06, the issue is that the front action screw only engauges by one turn, this on a premium rifle seems to be a little odd.
any suggestions?
I am in Australia and I don't think Kimber is playing nicely with our agent.

If the Accent uses the same screws as the Montana, you can use one from a Remington 700. It will need to be shortened but will give you all the threads you need. This is what I did with my 708 Montana.

Fluff - "front action screw only engauges by one turn". (?) Strange but would hope this is an isolated incident of an incorrectly sized action screw at the assembler's work station. Has Kimber responded to you by providing the correct front screw? Homesteader

Fairly common and the Rem screw will take care of it as mentioned

Australian importer told me it's normal, I say BS
Yes brownells have been contacted, seems they have run out
Very disappointing on a premium rifle
